Hand Woven Carpets (Kilims)
Kilims are flat woven rugs, or rugs without a knotted pile. Kilims are not knotted instead the thread or yarn are woven in flat manner on the warp strings. Wool is the primary material used in weaving a Kilim although cotton and silk are commonly used as well. Kilims come mostly in tribal and geometric designs and have rich and vibrant colors making them an appealing option for home decoration.
